Dr. Cox uses a variety of techniques to accomplish her learning objectives, including discussion, social media, gaming, and live demonstrations to teach topics ranging from beginning reporting to advanced feature storytelling, multimedia journalism, mass media management and public affairs reporting. Her goal is for each classroom to be transformed into a functioning newsroom, with each student dedicated to the practice of quality journalism.
