Vending Machine
Student Health Services is excited to announce the installation of two “Wellness to Go” vending machines on campus!
We understand that students may need over-the-counter (OTC) medications and wellness products at any time of the day or night. Student Health Services has curated a selection of OTC products to meet that need. We also recognize that rising pharmacy costs can make these items expensive, so we’ve worked to make them available at the lowest possible price.
Locations
- Guerrieri Student Union – In the hallway between Chick-fil-A and the Link of Nations, next to the ATM. (open 24/7 with GullCard access to building)
- Guerrieri Academic Commons (GAC) – Next to the Math Emporium. This location is tucked away, offering a more private vending experience.
Payment Options
- Credit, Debit, or Gull Card (GSU) only. (Cash not accepted)
Additional Details
- Machines will be regularly stocked with OTC medications and wellness products.
- All purchases are 100% confidential.

(1 test in each box)
We hope the health and wellness vending machine allows students to get helpful items for their symptoms even when our office is closed. As always, if you have questions or you have persistent symptoms, we encourage you to make an appointment with one of our medical providers. We want all Seagulls to be healthy so they can stay successful in their academics, and we hope this makes things a little bit easier, a little bit cheaper and a lot more convenient.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did Student Health Services choose this specific location for the machine?
In response to a recent bill passed in the Maryland state legislature, all institutions of higher education must provide 24/7 access to over-the-counter contraception options. The GSU location chosen is one of the only locations on campus accessible to all students 24/7 with a Gull Card. The GAC location chosen offers a more private vending experience.
What do I do if I choose an item to dispense and it gets stuck?
If you have difficulty dispensing an item, please contact Student Health Services at 410-543-6262. If we are not open, please leave a message and we promise to resolve the issue on the next business day.
What happens if I pick the wrong item?
Please be cautious when choosing items. We are unable to offer returns or refunds. There will be no exceptions, as we must follow appropriate safety precautions related to the storage and handling of medications.
What types of payment are accepted?
The machine is completely cashless. Payment options are only by credit, debit, or Gull Card (GSU only). “State of Maryland” will appear on your credit card bill.
Who do I contact if I have other questions or suggestions?
We welcome feedback and inquiries related to our health and wellness machine. Please email studenthealth@salisbury.edu with any questions or suggestions.
What if I have questions about the medications and what medication I should be taking?
Student Health Services staff welcome students to make appointments with any of our board-certified nurse practitioners. We cannot offer any medical advice without an appointment. If you have any questions about your health or medications, please log in to the health portal myhealth.salisbury.edu to schedule an appointment or you can call our office at 410-543-6262 to schedule an appointment.
