About Faculty Development Day
Faculty Development Day is an annual event organized the Faculty Senate’s Faculty Development Committee, the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (CAFE) and Instructional Design & Delivery (ID&D). The half-day event helps kick-off the start of the academic year, allowing an opportunity to explore effective practices and provide faculty and staff with concrete ideas to incorporate into their teaching, research, creative activities and university life. It's a great opportunity to share experiences, build community and identify resources to pertinent to academic life at SU.
Faculty Development Day 2025 - AI and Higher Education

SU faculty and staff are invited to attend this year's event on Artificial Intelligence and Higher Education which will highlight ideas for teaching students with GenAI, updates on the Fall 2024 campus-wide AI survey updates from SU's AI Taskforce, and break-out sessions highlighting various topics regarding AI.
