Lorrin Brubaker is a photographer whose work focuses on both street photography and portraiture. There’s no doubt that Lorrin’s background in movement influences his artistic eye. The Florida native fell in love with dance at age ten and later went on to earn his BFA from The Juilliard School in New York City. After graduating in 2017, Lorrin and his partner Daisy moved to Los Angeles to work as professional dancers. While juggling life as a freelance artist with BODYTRAFFIC, Jacob Jonas The Company, and L.A. Dance Project, Lorrin discovered his passion for photography. He joined L.A. Dance Project full-time in 2020 and has since enjoyed collaborating with many of the dancers at LADP as well as the other musicians, actors, and artists in his life. Lorrin is currently the In House Photographer of L.A. Dance Project and loves capturing BTS of the company at work. Lorrin’s photos have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Voyage LA, Insider, Leica Gallery LA, Zadig & Voltaire, LA Dance Project, Visual Therapy NY, Forecast Journal, and 201 Magazine. He’s also assisted recognized photographers such as Jesse Lirola, Josh Rose, Pete Halvorson, and Kat Westerman.
